The aim of the project is to build a 60-room hotel for Feed. The project directly creates three and indirectly 20 new jobs. In the next few years, the hotel will be expanded to a total of 200 rooms, with an employment effect of 40 new service jobs. The number of rooms in the hotel will allow access to the sales range of international tour operators. At present, Syöte is not an interesting destination for tour operators due to the limited capacity of accommodation, and therefore has not been able to take advantage of the growing flow of tourists to Finland. The new hotel is a strategic investment for the international growth of the region, which triggers the implementation of a framework agreement between entrepreneurs and the city of Pudasjärvi. The FWC investments amount to approximately EUR 48 million.
