The aim of the construction of Tahkomäentie and Panoramatie is to enable the emergence of new tourism-related business and the expansion of existing activities to the top of Tahko and to the west of the slopes to Välimäki. The project completely renews the road that rises from Tahkomäentietie to the top and moves Tahkomäentie from about 1 km to a new point. Thanks to the measures, Resort Savonka Oy, a miniature spa and landscape suites, can be implemented at the top of Tahko. With the transfer of Tahkomäentie, the slope company’s top spots will open up several new ski slopes to Välimäki.
