The aim of the project is to improve the tracing of staff exposure to COVID as well as the identification of potential exposures in a university hospital. The project is piloting an operating model that aims to speed up and refine the detection of COVID exposure among workers. As a measure of the project, volunteers working in the on-call area are given an RFID tag, which they carry during their shifts. RFID readers collect information about staff contacts and their duration. The result of the project is an operating model that aims to be implemented after the project if the experience is positive. This approach will subsequently aim at reducing COVID infections among staff.
