The project will result in a viable model for an energy community/city-provided self-contained electricity transmission network, as permitted by EU legislation, where renewable energy produced in the region can be used locally to attract industrial clean technology investments and create industrial jobs. The project will carry out the necessary studies on the technical feasibility of the Kalajoki Smart Grid project by means of expert work and the expertise services to be procured. The project provides sufficient information on the implementation model of the Energy Community/closed electricity network for the City of Kalajoki and the outgoing partners.
