This project strengthens the effectiveness of the growth programmes piloted in the Growth Ecosystems project by creating methods for digital sharing of these, as well as other services for growth companies, and thus promotes the project’s effectiveness through the development of growth companies’ business and know-how.6Aika — Growth ecosystems in the project have been successfully mapped and piloted between the six largest cities. There are high-quality growth programs and services available for different sectors of the growth ecosystem as well as for different stages of the life cycle of companies. However, taking full advantage of this is still challenging for businesses, as every city has its own growth agendas, schedules and often requires at least some degree of physical presence from entrepreneurs. Based on the experience of the project, growth ecosystems are not very reluctant for companies to move to these programmes. Thus, the need has been identified for 1) sharing the existing growth programmes and those piloted in the Growth Ecosystems project 2) making them more accessible through a website solution implemented jointly at interfaces, and 3) co-creation between cities. The project responds to this need by digitally making the best growth programmes and their content available to growth-oriented companies in previous projects and other forms of urban finance. Continuous development ensures the quality of national growth programmes and thus increases the number of emerging and growth companies in the regions. The project will take the following measures:A) Start-up mapping and identification of digital content in growth programsB) Create a pilot model for digital content in growth programsC) Compilation of information on available growth programs and implementation of a technical solution for sharing information through a common viewD) Marketing cooperationE) Implementation of pilots for digital content sharingF) Key person developer platformG) Collaboration of the sharing model to other citiesEach project partner pilots one larger digital content sharing with companies (3 pilots). The project will involve 150 growth companies in digital growth programs and other shared content. In the longer term, business growth and internationalisation will accelerate with participation in a wider and better quality programme offering. The project will support business growth in partner cities by developing services that activate innovation and research activities and making them more widely available nationally. Cooperation between cities strengthens both regional and national economic structures, creating new jobs and stable business activities. The project supports the sustainable development of the local economic fabric in urban areas and the development of intangible products and services. The solutions developed by the companies supported in the project can have a positive impact on environmental sustainability. The project will pay attention to gender-balanced participation.
