Satakunta event industry cluster

The main objective of the project is to create a Satakunta event industry cluster, which acts as a joint development network, peer support and a motor of growth for companies in the entire industry. This objective will be achieved through the following measures:1. Building a cluster of event industries, marketing the cluster and generating information to increase the visibility of the cluster2. New responsible, security and low-carbon solutions for events and companies3. Development of new digital services and products, in particular through Augmented Reality (AR) and/or Virtual Reality (VR). 4. As a result of the project, a well-known and recognised event industry cluster is created in Satakunta, which acts as a joint platform for cooperation, development and exchange of information between companies, educational institutions and other actors. At the same time, the project will support the renewal and development of event companies and other actors affected by the COVID-19 pandemic. The project develops and renews business models and processes, services and products and aims to reach new customer groups. As a result of the project, companies are more competitive and more productive and ready to adopt new solutions and operating models. The project supports low-carbon, responsible and environmental solutions and process development. As a result of the project, events can be organised more responsibly and companies will become more competitive. The project will also bring new opportunities for companies from digitalisation, especially through increased reality and virtual reality. The long-term goal is to develop the opportunities of the event industry to operate in a more productive, environmentally friendly and responsible way. In addition, the aim is to find new business opportunities throughout the year, thereby improving business productivity and job creation.
