Growth in Kainuu — Development of management and personnel

Growth Kainuu’s project consists of the ESF-funded Management and Human Resources Development project and the ERDF-funded Growth, Internationalisation and Ownership Transfer project. Growth in Kainuu — Management and Human Resources Development project aims to support the activities of growth, internationalisation and transfer of ownership through the development and training of company management and personnel skills. The development of skills is carried out through tailor-made specific trainings based on the needs of companies. Training needs are raised through the ERDF project. The aim is to simultaneously improve the quality and productivity of working life and performance in companies and organisations. The aim of the project is to improve well-being at work and improve the quality, productivity, performance, employment rate and competitiveness of working life. The project measures include networking, assessment and development of business plans, assessment and identification of companies’ service and development needs, support and development of the quality of working life, development of management and personnel skills (specific trainings). These measures will improve the adaptability of enterprises, entrepreneurs and workers to different changing situations. The result of these measures is to improve the productivity, performance and competitiveness of enterprises at the same time as improving the quality of working life. The activities of the projects are industry-independent. The project package is part of the further development of Yritys-Suomi Kainuu.
