Learn Fast — an experimental development program

Today’s successes have good situation sensitivity and respond to changes in their environment faster than others. Such skills are needed for an increasing number of companies. Business decision-making needs real information about customers’ choices in order to dare to make solutions. The only way is to try and learn.Learn Fast is an experimental development programme that aims to bring a completely new, more experimental development culture into the SME field. Traditional business planning no longer provides a sufficient vision of the direction and speed of change with the market. Instead of a design culture, it would be important to move to a culture of experimentation, which, on the one hand, ensures the development of ideas through multiple opinions and, on the other hand, builds a bridge for the implementation of changes. The goal is to provide SMEs with stronger information on future opportunities to support business decision-making. This is achieved by interacting more with customers, experimenting and testing, understanding what works in business as well as real Can Do-mindset. The project will carry out annual high-quality Mindset seminars. In addition, tailor-made mini-seminars on interesting themes and principles of experimental development will be organised. New ideas will be piloted in Can Do coaching that helps companies learn from each other. Equal working life and equal management are taken into account in a cross-cutting manner, and when designing experiments, companies are encouraged to take into account the gender equality perspective and diversity as a factor of competitiveness. Interesting capabilities are also created when the entire personnel of companies acquires the ability to understand customers’ experience and its realisation in the chosen business model in a new way. In implementing the strategy, the information obtained directly from the customer’s experiments serves as the learning capital of key personnel, through which the management of a company’s change is significantly accelerated.
