The project is looking for new models for the challenges of labour productivity and well-being at work under constant change. The project is based on the National Working Life 2020 project and the underlying Working Life Development Strategy. The vision of the working life development strategy is to make Finnish working life the best in Europe by 2020. The main objective of the project is that micro and small and medium-sized enterprises in the Päijät and Kanta-Häme region are better equipped to develop productivity and well-being at work in the short and long term, and that the labour market actors are enthusiastic and motivated to develop their own work, skills, ability to work and work communities, and to be able to function productively in the future. An indirect goal is also the human sustainability and equality of working careers in the workplace. The project creates operating models based on business networks by launching pilots to support the development of productivity and well-being at work in Kanta-Häme and Päijät-Häme micro, small and medium-sized enterprises and other work organisations from different perspectives:1) the ability of work communities to build their own well-being at work. Small enterprises are directed to utilise existing applications and tools that support well-being at work and to work together to promote well-being at work.2) Change in work culture — new ways of leading in chaos-like working life and creating a smoother and more innovative working culture. Rapid tools and methods that facilitate everyday life are sought for the challenges of “Cause Management”. These may, for example, be related to the formulation of work in support of family and work reconciliation. Let’s try using Lean and Service Design to develop a smoother and more innovative working culture. 3) Need-oriented support for the development of productivity and well-being at work by small enterprises. As a result, the operating model from meeting the company through first aid to steering forward.4) strengthening the regional working life development network and its operating models. Utilise the activities and competences of companies, universities of applied sciences and regional networks supporting the development of working life and well-being at work. New approaches and perspectives are sought to stimulate and inspire job development.Piles are based on user-oriented, network-based co-development, where work communities and employees are experts in their own work. As a result, micro, small and medium-sized enterprises and working communities in the region are more aware of guidance and advisory services that improve productivity and well-being at work. In addition, micro and small and medium-sized enterprises in the region are able to use networks to develop and manage working life. In the working communities participating in the project, new types of network-based operating models have been developed and implemented, which support well-being at work, coping with work and commitment to work, work organisation and management, thereby contributing to the renewal and competitiveness of working communities. The main project is implemented by Lahti University of Applied Sciences, Häme University of Applied Sciences and a key network partner in the Häme Regional Network of the Working Life 2020 project.
