The aim of the Aava — Open Way to Vocational Education and Training project is to use the existing training offer in an innovative way by developing and experimenting with an open learning environment model across provincial borders. The training tray model allows students to acquire flexibly the skills they need and work life. The project will pilot a training tray model that allows students to learn flexible in different institutions, regardless of the provision of their home municipality or local educational institution. The project will enable a smooth transition from education to another, from education to work and from work to education.The project measures will be divided into two themes1. Construction of study paths and training trays 2. Development of guidance models and servicesOpen pathways and servicesOpen pathways and services for young people and adults, a) who are not in education, employment or trainingb) who have previously dropped out of education or are at risk of dropping out of studiesc) who have previous skills, but want to develop themselves and/or improve their position as a jobseekerd) who would like and be able to complete comprehensive degrees or (e) have no capacity to complete the full degree. In addition, the target group of the project is the teaching and guidance staff of educational institutions and other bodies responsible for the guidance of young people and adults. The project’s concrete results:- a model of agreement that can be introduced when new partners join the tray model developed by the project or if a similar development is undertaken elsewhere in Finland — a model of the training tray that allows a smooth transition from education to another, from education to work and from work to education and training o enables young people and adults to study and study for young people and adults regardless of their place of residence, and the development of their own skills supports and promotes the skills of foreign-language-language-education pupils and vocational training modules and pathways that meet the changing needs of working life.
