Objectives of the project: 1.Further information on career paths for young people not in education or employment. 2.Further information on the impact and cost impact of employment measures targeting young people. 3.Develop service design and service guidance and strengthen the cooperation network of experts working with young people.4.Find good practices in municipalities regarding the employment of young people. Benchmarkata’s most effective practices and enable the introduction of good practices.5. Involvement of job-seeker customers in the development of urban services and service design in development workshops. (Oulu and Helsinki)Project toimenpiteet:Hankkeessa is combined with the existing national birth cohort 1987... data from the URA system on measures to promote employment in municipalities. The aim of the study is to identify in particular what are mechanisms to promote social inclusion and prevent exclusion and how these mechanisms could be influenced by local employment measures. The study examines in more detail the career paths between the ages of 16-25 for young people (not in employment, education or training) and young people who are eligible for a cross-sectoral joint service, and the effectiveness of municipalities’ activation measures in terms of their attachment to society. Develop an assessment of the effectiveness of employment measures. Benchmarkatans effective practices and creates a model for the dissemination of good practices. Improve cost awareness to improve service guidance and assess the impact of different rehabilitation methods. The project will bring together a network of experts in six cities. Support a network of experts to promote cross-sectoral cooperation, to harmonise working practices, to develop service design and service guidance, and to improve the flow of information and networking between them. Create a key indicator bank based on research data. Key indicator data provides a tool for resource and information management and development of operations. It will help build a common monitoring system for Six and improve the comparability of measures to promote employment in Six. The inclusion of young people is promoted by introducing a young customer panel and/or a group of developers to develop and influence the quality and availability of services aimed at young people. New methods of interaction (e.g. social media opportunities) will be used as a method of involving young people. The results of the project: The multidisciplinary joint service that promotes the employment of young people will become more efficient and will be able to serve its customers more effectively in the future. The THL project will produce comprehensive research data on the well-being of young people and the effectiveness of measures to promote employment until the age of 25. Research results are reported locally and nationally and the research data can be used immediately, for example, with the help of the Key Indicators Bank in the development and decision-making of municipalities’ services. Research-based development creates a permanent culture in which the documentation of interventions is developed, impact assessment is approached in a structured way, and young people are involved in the development of activities.Developing assessment and guidance methods that enable young people to find the rehabilitation path that is best suited to their life situation.Benchmarking the most effective practices among six cities and disseminating information also nationally.
