Eve parallel project

Eve’s parallel project finances the labour policy measures of the Eve (Foreignness and prolonging working life) development project. The target group of the EVE development project is enterprises and work communities in the region, including rural enterprises from different industries. The starting point of the project is to support the region’s working life in the event of change and to contribute to the maintenance of jobs. The focus is on productivity, quality and well-being in working life, renewal, change, longer working lives and professional mobility. Supporting change is based on analysing the phenomena of well-being and labour productivity by using different mapping formats. Development and training measures will initiate improvement and development processes at both community and employee levels. The aim of the project is to develop jobs — to influence the productivity and competitiveness of companies and working communities in the region, renewal and change, and the desire for growth entrepreneurship. Special attention will be paid to careers and occupational mobility, quality of working life and well-being at work.___Eve, on 8 June 2017, additional funding is requested for the parallel project to implement training measures for enterprises. The aim of the project is to improve the productivity of companies through longer working lives. The employment perspective is a key element and therefore the aim is also to improve the labour marketability of workers and their attachment to work. There is a demand for the activities offered by this parallel project and new funding is aimed at achieving better performance and new businesses. The training measures included in the parallel project are a key tool for the Eve development project and its objectives. The measures are planned largely in a company-oriented way, so the company contributes to the planning and implementation of the training and to the costs of training. The training consists of joint procurement training (Tämä and RekryTraining) and normal labour market policy training for those in employment.___Application for modification 5 March 2018The extension of the parallel project to the Eve project is being applied for until 31.5.2019, as well as additional funding.___Application for amendment 23.1.2019Eve parallel project is currently progressing well and a discussion has been held with the development project on the need to continue the project. The TEM letter submitted in October 2018 (TEM/591/09.10.02/2017) provides for new deadlines, allowing for an additional time for the implementation of the projects. The need for employment services is still seen both from the perspective of the main project and from the perspective of the parallel project, so an extension is requested for the implementation of the parallel Eve project until 31 July 2020.___Appeal application 3.12.2019Eve for the parallel project will be applied for a new end date on 31.12.2020, so that labour market training can be carried out in accordance with the TEM Guide (TEM/591/09.10.02/2017) until 30 September 2020 and the parallel project will be completed in an orderly manner.
