The aim of the project is to promote the employment of young people with a migrant background in the Päijät-Häme region and the development of working life capacities. The project results in a network-based model of guidance and training, to which the key actors have committed themselves after the project.Päijät-Häme requires trainings that move quickly and enable individual pathways. The target group that needs to be trained at the higher levels of Finnish is heterogeneous and Päijät-Häme lacks all the training offer at the higher levels of Finnish (over B1, European Framework of Reference). Designing individual paths requires closer and reorganising cooperation between existing guidance services.None of the training providers operating in the region sees it possible, within the framework of their existing funding schemes, to organise the guidance, training and employment support services needed by the target group (young unemployed/immigrants under the unemployment suction). By networking, the various actors will receive support to develop their activities, increase their expertise and skills and improve their competitiveness. The network will help to improve the effectiveness of advice, training, marketing and the dissemination of general and current information. Networking will also increase cooperation between actors outside their own area. The project will pilot the piloting and training models included in the three TSIs 1. Training products and their financing modelsWork package 2. Construction of the control model Work Package 3. Consolidation of the network-like operating model The result of the project will be an effective guidance and training model that utilises each operator’s own funding opportunities for the common good. This creates a new funding model for the needs of guidance, education and training. The new approach will provide a permanent solution to the need for guidance and training for immigrants. The indirect objective is to increase multicultural know-how in companies and organisations in the region.
