Inka Satakunta — innovative growth services in Satakunta

Inka Satakunta — an innovative partner platform in Satakunta — project aims to pilot and develop services targeted to personal customers in Satakunta. In particular, the focus will be on recruitment and skills services as well as on interfaces between social and employment services. In the long term, more effective personal customer services will reduce unemployment, e.g. the job-employee mismatch will improve and the jobseeker will receive timely support for employment if necessary. At the same time, Satakunta’s labour market is becoming more dynamic and the cost of unemployment is reduced. The changing operating environment creates a need for new forms of development and service packages. The Inka Satakunta project pilots 8-9 services, all of which support the necessary development of services. The pilots are carried out in a customer-oriented manner and using service design. New solutions for piloted models will be sought from innovative procurement methods such as innovation partnership, negotiated procedure and result-based procurement method. The project will create forums where, together with authorities, customers and service providers, services can be developed to match the changing environment of the future. Closer cooperation and active open discussion between potential service providers, authorities, municipalities and the third sector supports the development of services. Peer development of services and markets is utilised in particular with the Central Finland ELY Centre’s MARKE service market development project. Peer development makes it possible, for example, to compare different regions in the development of services and, on the other hand, to strengthen the rooting of functioning models. The aim of the project is to utilise the service models of the MARKE project in Satakunta.
