The objective of the Continuing Route Project is- to shorten the total study time on a course consisting of a vocational degree and a polytechnic degree,- Create, pilot/experience and harmonise national, trans-regional, cross-regional, cooperation between education and training providers based on vocational-to-technician transition models and pedagogical solutions- Increase the attractiveness of VET from the perspective of potential students- Promote the competence-based nature of the project The project will form a national network of cooperation between the 11 VET institutions and universities of applied sciences. The project consists of three horizontal themes working across regional borders: 1) Acceleration of studies through transition-supporting operating models2) Harmonisation and entrenchment of methods for post-graduate and transition guidance 3) Creating framework conditions for joint transition approaches and structures, sharing experiences and practices and drawing up national recommendations and raising awareness of the professional path. The core of the work is regional experiments, each developing a horizontal theme, focusing on solving a particular issue or experimenting with a new approach, thus aiming at the sub-objectives of a larger entity. Each project operator develops its operating models, guidelines and structures during the project towards common objectives. Working on the horizontal themes of the project will continuously provide information on the experiments, good practices and co-developed practices of others, which the operators choose to immediately adopt in their own organisations and receive support for regional-specific solutions.
