The project will finance labour policy measures of the Raksa Coach project in North Savo. The project acquires an intensive period of 80 student working days for immigrants, unemployed people and people at risk of unemployment living in the North Savo region with the aim of familiarising students with Finnish language, culture and work culture, as well as Finnish working life and society. During the training, basic skills in the construction sector are also practised and occupational safety and work cards are carried out. The training also includes 200 student working days of vocational training, which consists of 80 days of theory and 120 days of on-the-job learning in construction workplaces. During the professional period, the students will complete 1-2 parts of the basic degree in building construction. The project will also train 20 workplace supervisors in construction companies. They are coached to direct people with foreign background, incompetent Finnish and low-skilled people.
