Entrepreneurs’ well-being and digital skills

The aim of the project is to safeguard the operational capacity of sole entrepreneurs and small enterprises by promoting the well-being of entrepreneurs at work and by organising peer support at a time when companies’ incomes and customer flows have suddenly ceased due to exceptional circumstances. The aim of the project is to improve the skills of entrepreneurs by promoting the introduction of new operating methods, e.g. through digital breaks, which promote efficiency, productivity and, at the same time, well-being at work by empowering entrepreneurs and enabling them to overcome the crisis. In line with the entrepreneurs’ own wishes, skills development measures such as training, coaching and (remote) workshops for groups of companies, such as marketing and continuous development of the company, will be organised in order to overcome the crisis and start operations after the crisis. The measures of the project are:1) Maintaining the functional capacity of entrepreneurs, promoting well-being at work and supporting well-being at work, which includes remote discussion and remote peer support events, training, peer-to-peer coaching, communication, and directing individual entrepreneurs to business services in their own projects. Implemented by Kalajoki Entrepreneurs Association.2) Business Digital Work Package, which is information and training remotely, various information, benchmarking and networking events, as well as by introducing a free, common learning and action platform for all companies, for information exchange, co-product development, service design, and promotion. Kalajoki Tourism Association is responsible for the work package. 3) In addition to project management, reporting and coordination, the management work package includes the acquisition of project purchasing services in the above-mentioned work packages and other skills development. The main manager of the project is the City of Kalajoki. As a result, the know-how and knowledge and operating methods of sole entrepreneurs, micro and small and medium-sized enterprises have been renewed, channels for peer-to-peer support have been created for enterprises, and the partners have introduced new channels to guide entrepreneurs. Indirectly, cooperation between different business associations also develops and improves.
