Workflow development programme

The aim of the Workflow Development Programme is to open new perspectives to management. The project will also promote interaction between companies from different sectors and sizes on the possibilities of developing work communities. The aim of the project is to promote the emergence of a new management culture for SMEs.The WorkFLOW development programme is based on coaching packages, digital experiments and benchmarking-type learning experiences tailored to SMEs and implemented in small groups. The project will experiment and apply, in a new way, different working methods for management and the development of work communities. These build a tailor-made and experimental entity for SMEs interested in the development of management. The coaching will be carried out in small groups, which will start during the project from evaluations 5-7. A total of 35 companies from Satakunta participate in the project. The project also utilises young people’s perspectives and expectations from working life. The Workflow future part maps the expectations, thoughts and views of students graduating into working life and management. A summary of the results of the interviews will be prepared, which will also be used in the coaching groups of companies. Three seminars will be held in the project on the topical themes of management. Workflow seminars are held annually. Thanks to the workflow development programme’s activities and experiences, a community-based HUB operating model is modelled, which connects different actors to the development. The speakers and coaching leaders of the seminars organised in the project will be selected to provide a wide range of experts to experiment with different implementations and content. Benchmarking-type implementations are platformed by business representatives who have succeeded in developing their work community or have made exceptionally advanced solutions in their companies. Various digital solutions will be explored as part of the Workflow project. The project staff coordinates and organises the project’s activities in close collaboration with the participating companies and experts and implements a mapping material compiling students’ views. The aim of the Workflow project is that these measures contribute both to the development of the skills of the participants in the project and to the improvement of well-being at work in the workplace. The project, together with SMEs, project actors and various experts, will develop management development coaching concepts that are particularly suitable for the SME field, which will lead to the development of corporate cultures. The activities of the project will be compiled openly into a publication that will open up development paths through corporate and personal stories.
