True — Art, inclusion and social innovation

The Truth — Art, Inclusion and Social Innovation project creates an operating model for individual and group activities based on low-threshold art methods based on the principles of inclusion and co-development. The project will also create new work opportunities for artists based on cross-sectoral co-creation and a related operating model to support the employment of artists. The project will contribute to the creation of a provincial cultural wellbeing service provider model and link the developed operating models to service structures. The project promotes the quality of services by assessing operating models in relation to existing quality criteria, such as quality criteria for the organisation of social rehabilitation.TOSI project implements art projects based on low-threshold methods of community art together with the project’s municipal, cultural, employment and social welfare service providers. The project organises longer-term art group activities and follow-up paths for people. The project also develops closer individual art activities and art encounters in people’s own environments. As a result, the participants’ well-being, inclusion and working and working ability have improved and an operating model for group and individual activities based on low-threshold art methods has been established. The TOSI project promotes the provision of work and the creation of new job profiles for artists and cooperates with social services, growth services, arts and other networks. The project will also identify and contact employers with potentially suitable jobs for artists. The operating models developed are productised by the principles of co-development as service products for municipal and provincial social and hyte services. As a result, an operating model has been established to support the employment of artists, and cooperation between social services, employment, arts and employers organisations has increased. Cooperation between employers and employment service providers has improved and increased. The results of the work have been integrated into local and regional services.The project’s activities are divided into three phases: piloting, expanding operations and consolidating operations. The true — Art, Inclusion and Social Innovation project is coordinated by the National Institute for Health and Welfare.
