Small service companies are facing an unprecedented challenge as the COVID-19 pandemic and other changes from the operating environment, such as digitalisation and customer behaviour, put pressure on business continuity. Entrepreneurs are in a situation where there is a need to reform strongly, develop their skills and ideas for new kinds of services and business models. Entrepreneurs are under testing and need services and work models to support them, helping ideas and development work to progress. The aim of the project is to improve the ability of small entrepreneurs to develop their current business and to create new business areas and operating models in a changing environment such as the coronavirus crisis, as well as in other situations that are critical to the company’s operations, e.g. related to a change of ownership, illness or other specific situation. The target companies of the project are small service companies operating in the service and restaurant sector in particular. In small service companies, the measures are concrete and produce both company-specific and company-specific activities and data collected:- mapping the company’s current situation and mystery shopping- Starttipajat- Hihat-up- Workshops- Supporting the know-how and growth of companies- The Koronapulssi-Satakunta project recognises the development and skills needs of service companies. Companies will have access to new ideas and tools to make change and improve their ability to cope with challenging situations. This will enable companies to secure business continuity and to seek new growth. The well-being and well-being of entrepreneurs at work will be improved. The working models, workshops and the whole progress model developed in the project are the results of the project. They serve as examples of how to meet the needs of entrepreneurs and how service companies can be supported in changing the business environment. The project also promotes the development of business networks. These approaches can continue to be used. In addition, the project provides up-to-date information for business development organisations and other entities working with companies on the challenges and situational picture of companies and on short-term development needs. The project develops the operating model of Satakunta Koronapulses, which can be further developed as a tool for rapid situational information.
