The activities of the TYKU2 project are aimed at developing international networking and application preparation competences between scientists and other researchers, as well as scientific managers responsible for the development and implementation of international research, experimental development and innovation projects through participation in international research, experimental development and innovation (R & D & I) programmes. This requires a good understanding of the objectives of these international programmes and the rules governing participation in these programmes and the financing of projects in the R & D & I. To achieve this, it is planned to develop a training cycle for both scientific managers, taking into account their contribution to the preparation of a competitive application (approved for funding or a threshold score), and for researchers and other researchers preparing international R & D & I projects in the new programming phase. Training seminars and training modules to prepare a competitive application will be organised using highly qualified external and in-house experts selected through the competition. In order to allow participants to successfully apply the valuable knowledge and skills acquired during the training in the preparation of international R & D & I projects, project activities will be carried out to enable participation in targeted R & D & I events: information events, contact events, meetings of partners of consortia, research missions. Representatives of the European Technology Platforms (ETPs) will also encourage and facilitate the involvement of the scientific community in international projects through their participation in the activities of these organisations and international events organised by them. All these activities, training programmes and other relevant information related to international R & D & I projects will be published on the dedicated Lithuanian website “www.h2020.lt”.
