It takes a long time to form a cluster in the market (which can take several decades). In this context, the project aims to speed up this process and ensure the smoothness and quality of such a process. Under the supervision of high-level professionals, by carrying out processes correctly and consistently, project activities help to create solid foundations and favourable conditions for clusters to grow and develop. Clusters face a variety of challenges at different stages of development. The development of a cluster initiative requires first and foremost analysis of market, services and products, relations between market players, contacts and possible synergy points. Project specialists help clusters to find out more quickly and agree on what activities the cluster will focus, where is the highest value, will help to achieve the desired maturity and sustainability and maintain the desired level of communication. The aim of the project is to promote the merger of companies into clusters, to increase the maturity of clusters, to promote growth and international cooperation. The objectives of the project are: 1) to encourage clustering and to increase the maturity of clusters; 2) to develop the internationalisation of clusters and to encourage the integration of mulled and medium-sized enterprises (MSMEs) into international cluster initiatives. The project will organise cluster ageing sessions, targeted expert consultations on the development and growth of clusters, events for clusters and information events for SMEs, dissemination of information through www.klaster.lt (website in Lithuanian and English). In order to internationalise Lithuanian clusters, foreign partner search events will be organised according to the directions of smart specialisation, partner search services will be provided, consultations on the inclusion of new international members in clusters and the involvement of the Lithuanian SVV in clusters operating abroad will be provided. A publication about clusters operating in Lithuania investing in technologies and R & D & I will be published.
