in order to increase the competitiveness of economic operators, it is necessary to encourage business investment in research and experimental development and innovation (R & D & I) activities. Lithuanian companies lack the knowledge needed to carry out R & D & I activities effectively throughout the innovation cycle, from the concept of product development to its placing on the market. In order to address this problem, the project will provide innovation advisory and support services to economic operators carrying out or intending to carry out activities under the priority axes of research and experimental (social, cultural) development and innovation development (smart specialisation). This will encourage companies to increase their R & D & I activities and contribute to their innovation and competitiveness. In addition, the project will help to reduce the fragmentation of the provision of current innovation advisory and support services by involving public bodies (LICs) and science and technology parks (S & TFs), whose main activity is to provide innovation advisory and/or innovation support services, and of which the State is a member, as well as national business associative structures bringing together regional and sectoral business associations whose members carry out R & D & I activities. The project promoter will coordinate the specialised services provided by the partners to meet the specific needs of innovative business. The services will be provided by staff of the project promoter and partners with high-quality experience in providing innovation advice. Project activities: 1. Provision of services to promote R & D & I activities, increase their efficiency and technology transfer. 2. Provision of services to promote innovative entrepreneurship. 3. Provision of services to promote the participation of enterprises in international R & D & I programmes. 4. Provision of services to promote pre-commercial procurement. 5. Promotion and improvement of innovation advisory and support services
