The aim of the project is to provide quality integral assistance (daily social care and care services at home) for children with disabilities, disabled working age and elderly people and to provide advisory assistance to their caring family members. The project “Integral Home Assistance in the City of Klaipėda” will be implemented with the help of partners: JU Klaipėda City Social Assistance Centre, the Centre of Disabled Persons “Klaipedos Latute” and the Public Institution “Ori senatvė”. The project partners will bring together 6 mobile teams and provide them with sanitary and hygienic equipment. The partners of the project will provide integral assistance in the city of Klaipeda. During the project’s implementation, 300 people will be provided with integral support. Training for staff will be carried out in order to raise specialist knowledge and improve the quality of integral services. The employees of the mobile teams will learn according to the training programme for motivation and self-esteem of employees of Integral Social Care Teams, and will participate in the team’s communication with each other and with the environment, improving the team’s results (58 specialists). Individual counselling between family members will also be carried out to ensure that the relatives of the beneficiaries of integral assistance are better aware of and ensure their needs. 110 family members will be consulted, one hour, once. Posters, event, publication of information on partners’ websites, etc. are planned to promote the project.
