The aim of the project is to modernise the natural gas distribution system through smart infrastructure elements in order to increase the security and reliability of the natural gas distribution system. The objective of achieving this objective is to increase the quality and capabilities of the diagnostics, maintenance and management of gas control points. The planned activities of the project are: — installation of diagnostic equipment; — installation of remote control equipment. The need for the project was determined by the following main factors: the inefficiencies of gas pressure control equipment diagnostics, operation control, maintenance and regulation are aimed at improving the reliability and energy efficiency of the natural gas distribution network while reducing CO2 emissions. The project will result in the acquisition and installation of equipment (assembling gas network parameters from gas pressure control equipment and remote control equipment), which will ensure the operational adjustment of gas pressure control devices according to changing conditions in the gas network, and at the same time a more reliable supply of natural gas to customers, the probability of human error will be eliminated, all parameters will be automatically captured, entered into memory, the functionality quality of the device will be objectively assessed, the components will not need to be disassembled during the MSRB and the condition of all elements can be checked separately, including all leaks.
