The aim of the project is to improve the subjects and general competences of general education teachers necessary for the formation, implementation and efficiency of the educational content. To find out the need for and content for the improvement of subject and key competences, 2 analyses will be prepared, on the basis of which 18 -a teachers’ subject competencies and 6 key competences development programmes have been developed. They will also be able to develop on topical topics (class diversity, multiculturalism, recognition and assistance of children with special needs, development of reading and writing skills, problem solving, development of higher thinking skills, etc.) in 14 internships abroad where the results of national students’ research results are higher than those of Lithuanians, 60 short traineeship schools, 60 mini-training school teams, and modular program. Based on the analyses and lessons learned, 15 methodological publications with video tools will be prepared, 3 methodological educational films are organised, 30 self-reflection days, 35 public consultations, 6 conferences, 12 foreign education experts’ experience presentations to Lithuanian teachers will be prepared. When implementing innovations in education, the project will organise 5 Innovation Days and 28 Lithuanian Municipalities to test 4 innovations, and the results of these activities will be described in 2 toolkits. At least 1917 teachers will be trained in the project’s training under various programmes. During the implementation of the activities provided for in the project, the aim is to make the development of educators realistically applicable in the educational process. Part of the project’s activities are focused on creating opportunities for professional development in the regions.
