The aim of this project is to modernise and expand the infrastructure for water supply and wastewater management in Vilnius city in accordance with established service quality, environmental and health protection requirements: it is planned to reconstruct the most problematic sections of water supply and sewage networks, to build water treatment plants in Kalnėnai and New Vilnius, thus ensuring the quality of drinking water, to reconstruct the wastewater treatment plant of Vilnius Waste Water Treatment Plant, to ensure the quality of waste water treatment and to carry out the development of water supply and sewage networks in Šnipiškiai (Northern and Southern Parts), Nova Vilnia microdistricts and Naujininkai, Antakalnis, Rasai elderships, as well as garden communities “Aušra” and “Dailė”.
