Studies carried out in May 2015 showed that 29.4 % of the population living in multi-apartment buildings built in accordance with the technical construction standards in force before 1993 (‘the target group’) intend to participate in the Multi-Apartment Building Refurbishment Programme (‘the Programme’). In line with the conclusions of the study on the effectiveness of media measures, the Publication Strategy includes comprehensive information measures to promote public awareness (TV, radio, press, internet), educational (conferences, presentation of the programme in exhibitions, information publications, catalogue), training (workshops for residents, municipalities, training BNOV), consultation, promotion (investment plans and projects) and supervision of the projects implemented. They will increase the number of participants in the target group: by 31/12/2018, 51 % of the residents of the multi-apartment buildings to be renovated will support the modernisation of multi-apartment buildings and, in the right circumstances, will intend to participate in the Programme and improve the energy efficiency of public buildings.
