Remediation of Skaudvile city infrastructure

During the implementation of the project, it is planned to upgrade the community infrastructure near the Skaudvilė pond and its access, providing a high-quality recreation, leisure and recreation space, which will be attractive not only to local residents but also to service providers. The public recreation and leisure space provides for the installation of basketball-tennis, mini-football areas, children’s playgrounds and skateboards, outdoor simulators, pedestrian paths, car parking, lighting, rainwater sewage networks. In the area of the managed area, the coasts of Skaudvilė pond will be cleaned, access to water with a fireplace and beach area will be arranged, existing and new lawns will be renovated, low-value bushes and trees have been cut off, elements of small architecture (sewers, trash boxes, etc.) will be installed, and the section of Šlaito str. is reconstructed. The project is likely to improve the investment and economic environment: the built infrastructure will be available to residents of Skaudvile city and service providers. The impact of the project on urban residents will be felt through the use of high-quality public infrastructure and wider opportunities for rest and public services. The integrated management of the public infrastructure and its access to the designated area will strengthen the existing attraction centre, which meets the needs of the local community (target groups) and is able to attract additional private investment for the provision of a wide range of services, while increasing local economic attractiveness.
