The aim of the project is the installation of new advanced distribution systems, which increase the security and reliability of the natural gas distribution system and the uninterrupted distribution of natural gas to the users of the natural gas distribution system. The objective of the project is to install a new advanced natural gas distribution system by installing remote collection of technical parameters. Planned activities — Construction of new distribution pipelines, connection to existing distribution pipelines and implementation of advanced technologies. Ensuring the reliability and security of the natural gas distribution system is an inevitable process in the modern development of the gas sector. The construction of a new distribution pipeline and the connection to the existing distribution pipeline would reduce the number of interruptions of natural gas to customers due to accidents, disruptions (failures) of the distribution system and the reconstruction or repair of the system, ensure continuous and reliable natural gas distribution consumer systems with a continuous production cycle, ensure gas pressure parameters in contracts with system users. The installation of remote data collection and control systems would allow for the control, collection and analysis of data. All this would contribute to increasing the reliability of the overall system of distribution of natural gas by providing a better quality service to end-users that are divided into domestic and non-domestic. The implementation of the project would have a positive impact on the basic needs of end-users of Vilnius, Kaunas, Klaipėda, Panevėžys and Šiauliai electricity and gas distribution system regions — to obtain a reliable and secure service.
