The aim of the project is that the requirements of the EU Council directives oblige Member States to carry out nature management work in areas of importance for the conservation of birds and habitats. The project will implement the conservation and management measures provided for in the planning documents (nature management plans, management plans, management programmes, etc.) in Natura 2000 sites or parts thereof. Nature management measures (e.g. mowing, shrub felling, establishment of breeding sites for protected species, restoration of hydrological regime, etc.) are aimed at creating conditions for the restoration and conservation of habitats, species and, as a result, the creation of preconditions for the improvement of the value of protected areas. As part of the project, it is planned to manage 18 Natura 2000 sites (including hydrological reconstruction works in part of the sites) and to develop 5 technical projects for the restoration of hydrological regime (so as to prepare for hydrological reconstruction works).
