The project “Kaunas District Community Family Home” aims to create conditions for families living in Kaunas district to receive complex, accessible services of the family’s place of residence as close as possible in order to enable the family to overcome the crises that arise. The project is implemented together with Kaunas district municipality administration partner VšĮ “Darnūs namai”, which will perform the functions of community family homes in Kaunas district and will provide complex services to families. Kaunas Region Disability Union will provide a personal assistant service. Complex services — organisation, coordination, information and counselling of family services in the community family home of Kaunas district, positive paternity training, psychosocial assistance, mediation service, caring service, childcare service (for children from the age of three, until they start attending school, at the time their parents (parents, foster parents) will receive positive paternity skills training service, individual or group psychosocial counselling, or mediation service), personal assistant service. It is planned that 2300 people will receive complex services. The duration of the project is 61 months.
