The aim of the project “Kaunas Community Family Home” is to create conditions for families living in Kaunas to receive comprehensively provided social-psychological services in order to empower the family to overcome the crises that arise and to reconcile family and work obligations. The project is carried out by Kaunas City Municipality, together with project partners — Psychological Support and Consulting Centre; “A/C Patria”, Association Kaunas County Women’s Crisis Centre; VšĮ “Woman’s Help for a Woman”; Mother-child charity/support fund “Down”; Kaunas County Men’s Crisis Centre; Charity and support fund “Algymu”, VšĮ “Valakupiai Rehabilitation Center”, religious community Kaunas Archdiocese Family Centre, Association “Kaunas Women’s Line”. These organisations have acquired the necessary experience and have the necessary specialists, and the material base required for the provision of services. The partners include all potential customer groups to which complex services would be provided: families, children (of different age groups), adolescents, adults, persons in crisis, women, men, persons with addictions. The organisation responsible for the organisation and coordination of the “Community Family House” is the Public Institution Psychological Support and Advice Centre. The organisation of the provision of services “one-stop-shop” will take place as part of the initial assessment of the current situation of the family and the “accompanying the case”. Target group: Families living in Kaunas city. A total of 5730 people will participate in the programme. The program will cover all Kaunas elderships. Activities planned during the implementation of the programme: organisation and coordination of quality services for the family, positive parenting training, psychosocial assistance — assistance for people in crisis or traumatic emotional experiences and their families, relatives, including social, psychological and psychotherapeutic assistance, as well as assistance in overcoming addictions; family skills development and socio-cultural services; mediation services
