The project aims to solve the lack of infrastructure exhibiting in the National Museum of Lithuania (hereinafter — LNM). The aim of the project is to create a new, modern exposition of Lithuanian history and to start providing educational and other cultural services in the building of the Basilica, Lower and Upper Castles buildings of the Arc Cathedral, their remains and other buildings (hereinafter — Complex) in the building of the Castle House. In order to increase the attractiveness of the Complex, access to the Pilf’s house will be arranged. After completion of the management and repair work in both the building and its access, after acquiring the necessary equipment for cultural activities, the Pilist’s house will be actualised and opened to modern users of cultural and educational services. It is planned that after completion of the activities provided by the project, the quality and attractiveness of the cultural services provided by LNM will be increased for tourists and visitors, the cultural activities of new content, quality, form and scope will be carried out combining creative solutions and the latest technologies.
