Renovation of the city of Vilkija in Kaunas district

During the project it is planned to renovate the city of Vilkija, creating an attractive public infrastructure for visitors and local community, improving the quality of life and leisure space. During the project, the city’s public infrastructure will be renovated in an integrated way, renovating and illuminating the pavement of one of the largest and busiest street of Čekiškės street in the city. Luke Square. Small architectural elements (outdoor benches, rubbish bins, etc.) will be installed in the square, some unsuitable plantations will be removed, and instead of them, new plantations are installed. The Nemunas Lower Terrace will be equipped with a mass event venue with scene and spectators, which will complement the already formed infrastructure of the existing park and join the already formed system of paths and squares. The updated infrastructure of the existing park will be adapted for community cultural leisure, events, community meetings. A children’s playground with game facilities will be installed in the town near the apartment building Tulpių str.
