Students’ achievements today are often associated with new modern teaching tools based on information and communication technologies (ICT). The use of such tools requires not only the development of new digital tools, but also access to them. In order for all students to have access to technology, every student must have a computer at school (1:1), such investments are unlikely to be made by the state. It becomes relevant to enable children to bring their devices in schools. This requires the development of secure and controlled wireless Internet access in schools. The project foresees the installation of 2000 wireless internet zones in Lithuanian schools. Only authorised users will be able to connect to the wireless Internet, and schools will be able to control and manage content access; 1350 educators and school leaders will be trained to manage school network parameters, organise wireless network development, use wireless network in daily activities.
