The project aims to strengthen the capacity of results-oriented management and open data management in the Office of the Government and Ministries in order to harmonise strategic management processes in institutions, improve data analytics capabilities, improve the quality of strategic management documents, and strengthen institutional networking in the field of strategic management. The target group of the project is employees of the Government’s Chancellery and Ministries, who carry out functions related to strategic planning. The capacity of the employees of the Office of the Government to coordinate the strategic planning process systematically and to supervise the quality of strategic planning documents prepared by the ministries will be improved. It will also develop the strategic planning, monitoring and analytical capacity of ministerial staff to perform their functions effectively and to ensure a high quality of documents produced and an adequate planning process. The project will aim to coordinate data opening issues in a sustainable manner in Ministries and Government Chancellery, share best practices and promote less advanced institutions in this theme. Project activities will include evaluations, trainings, workshops, consultations, thematic round tables, development and delivery of methodological support tools, and remote events on good practices from abroad. Strengthening these capacities will help to harmonise strategic management and data opening practices in different institutions, increase the efficiency of the strategic management process, contribute to better decision-making, implementation of changes and monitoring of progress and better use of state budget funds.
