The objective of the project “Installation of control device start-up and reception cameras and implementation of the rapid technological management of the gas transmission system (second phase)” is to modernise the natural gas transmission system using smart technologies in order to increase the security and reliability of the natural gas transmission system. Implementation of the project will include the installation of control device start-up and reception cameras, replacement of taps and connecting parts to adapt the pipeline for internal diagnostics, operational technological control of the gas transmission system for safe and reliable transmission of natural gas in seven branches/sections of the main gas pipeline (hereinafter referred to as “MD”): • In MD branches to Subsective OSH, Biržai OSH; • WD branches to Vandžiogala OSH, Kėdainiai OSH; MD Panevezys-Šiauliai; MD Panevėžys-Šiauliai II thread, MD Šiauliai-Kuršėnai II thread; • MD connection Ivacevičiai-Vilnius-Riga with MD Vilnius-Kaunas; MD Vilnius-Kaunas (from 39,396-81.438 km); • MD Ivacevičiai-Vilnius-Riga (from Panevėžys DKS to Kiemėnai DAS).
