In order to achieve the objective of the project, the public space near the former “Vaidila” cinema infrastructure was renovated. During the implementation of the project, it is planned to reconstruct the square, footpaths, fountain, to install bicycle paths, stage, children’s playground, elements of small architecture (benches, trash boxes, bicycle stands, plant pots), video surveillance system. Install and arrange plantations, build engineering networks (electric lines, install floodlights, rainwater networks). It is expected that the project will improve the rest of the city’s residents and guests, spend time, improve connectivity and increase the attractiveness of the territory. Business opportunities in Klaipeda will also be increased — by improving the conditions for the activities of business entities, their visibility will increase, opportunities will be created for the development of business entities (e.g. outdoor cafés), in the territory modernised and adapted to the needs of residents and visitors, higher flows in commercial facilities and increased quality of life in this part of Klaipėda city will be expected.
