In order to ensure the reliability of electricity supply, the stability of the work of the EES, the integration of diversified energy sources both in Lithuania and the Baltic region, and to integrate the Baltic States into the common European EES, it is necessary to have forces and a modernised electricity sector. This requires updating and extending the EES transmission network. Project Provision of reliability of the electricity transmission network at 110/35/10 kV Aleksoto TP 110 kV distribution station will contribute to ensuring reliable and stable operation of the EES transmission network, uninterrupted electricity supply, and the consistent restoration and modernisation of the internal electricity transmission network.
