By solving the problem of lack of awareness of FinTech innovations both in Lithuania and internationally (as regards Lithuanian Fintech innovations) and the availability of innovation consulting services in Fintech for companies, the Science, Innovation and Technology Agency initiates a project aimed at promoting and supporting FinTech innovations, which will promote FinTech innovations and provide specialised innovation advisory services to FinTech companies, their benefits in the development of R & D activities, systematic improvement of the services provided, taking into account market needs, trends and international experience. The aim of the project is to increase the number of FinTech innovations and companies operating in this field by promoting FinTech innovations and ensuring the availability of innovation advice in FinTech. The aim is also to inform business and business-intensive society about the benefits of FinTech innovation, to create the image of Lithuania as a FinTech industrial centre in the Baltic region. The objectives of the project are: 1. Ensure the availability of innovation advice to companies in the FinTech field. 2. To raise awareness of FinTech innovations in Lithuania and abroad. Project activities: 1. Provision of innovation advice to FinTech companies. Consultations are needed for FinTech research, experimental development, innovation, commercialisation, obtaining funding for FinTech innovation, knowledge transfer, acquisition, protection and use of ownership rights of intangible assets, use of licensing agreements and standards. 2. Organisation of FinTech innovation promotion events and development of other publicity measures.
