During the implementation of the project, it is planned to improve the quality and accessibility of the services provided by the library by upgrading the state-owned building of Kaunas County Public Library (KAVB) in order to bring the building into line with the energy performance class of Building C and to reduce energy consumption. The planned activity is the renovation of the KAVB building, located at Radastų str. 2, Kaunas, by increasing energy efficiency. After the implementation of the activities foreseen in the project, it is planned that the KAVB building, Radastų str. 2, Kaunas, will achieve 48.10 % savings due to reduced heat energy consumption and improve the energy efficiency characteristics of the building (at least the energy performance class C will be provided to the building), the satisfaction of KAVB target groups with services will be increased, carbon dioxide emissions into the environment and environmental pollution will be reduced.
