“Development of the system for disclosing and developing pupils’ competences”

The aim of the project “Development of the system for the disclosure of educational skills and their education” is to enable psychologists and teachers to know the skills of the student and to select appropriate formal and non-formal education for them. Each school in the country will have the opportunity to engage in activities in which teachers and psychologists will participate in the recognition and search of children’s talents, learn to adapt the educational content in the lesson, create the content themselves, and select non-formal education for these children. During the project, training, consultations will be organised, and a network of cooperating schools will be created. Students interested in a particular field of science will have the opportunity to carry out research work in mobile or stationary UN laboratories and to continue the realisation of their ideas with the necessary specialist support. The descriptions and scientific methodological materials of the students’ research work carried out during the project will help Lithuanian students to search for research topics, plan and improve methodologies for maturity works. The implementation of the planned project activities will significantly expand the promotion of natural sciences and technologies among students and young people. At the end of the project, the aim is to create preconditions for a sustainable system for recognising the ability of pupils and improving the quality of their education in Lithuania.
