The project aims to develop a balanced system of sustainable mobility in Alytus and implements part of the measures set out in the Alytus City Sustainable Mobility Plan to promote public transport and improve urban transport infrastructure. During the implementation of the project, it is planned to modernise the public transport of the city (renovating public transport stations, installing light boards, bicycle stands, video surveillance cameras) and installing/reconstructing the engineering infrastructure (routes, pedestrian sections) located in the city districts and adapting it to people with special needs, implement the measures of a sustainable mobility plan, promote sustainable mobility, promote public transport, ensure traffic safety and reduce pollution.
