The project “Development of the System of Consolidated Management of Accounts of the State Treasury” aims to create conditions for rational and efficient management of state monetary resources. The aim of this project is to consolidate the collection and disposal of public funds in the single treasury accounts (hereinafter referred to as “VIS”), thereby increasing the efficiency of the management of public monetary resources. As part of the project activities, the organisational and methodological tools necessary to implement the VIS system management model will be developed, defining the structure, roles, roles, requirements for their capabilities and competences of the Ministry of Finance and other bodies involved in the management of state monetary resources, and the development and modernisation of information technology (IT) tools. The development of methodological tools will also include the development of new processes and procedures necessary to ensure the functioning of the VIS and other procedures and rules governing the provision of means of access to the payment infrastructure, the management of pinging resources, operational risk management and other relevant areas. The results achieved during the project — the development of the operating model for the management of the VIS system and the development of the information system necessary for the management of the VIS system — will lead to a reduction in borrowing costs, higher return on investments, reduced costs of bank account administration and transfer fees, the risk of loss of funds from the company’s own funds, and the risk of loss of funds, as well as the project results will allow the Ministry of Finance to have comprehensive and timely information on state monetary resources, to carry out a better analysis of public funds, to carry out a better analysis of state budget funds.
