The new EU Biodiversity Strategy (the ‘Strategy’) post-2020 envisages improving the status of protected species and habitats by 30 % as one of the quantified targets. In order to contribute to this objective, it is envisaged to implement conservation measures for 19 protected species in 52 areas and to regulate the abundance of 2 invasive species in areas 2. Actions would be carried out in accordance with established plans for the protection of protected species and the regulation of the abundance of invasive species. The result of the project will be achieved once the measures in the action plans have been properly implemented. During the project, it is also planned to make adjustments to the necessary documents (internal forest management projects and plans for the protection of protected species and plans to regulate the abundance of invasive species).
