The project proposal "Mtel for Mtel: Technologies with the future" has the following specific objectives (CC).CC1: Meeting the current needs of A1 Bulgaria, as an employer, in accordance with its specific needs, by providing job-specific trainings for 167 employees in the company. KC2. Providing conditions and opportunities for sustainable employment for 167 professionals in one of the most technological and dynamic sectors based on knowledge, high technology and ICT — that of telecommunications. Carrying out 26 types of specific trainings for 167 high-quality employees of A1 Bulgaria, which will provide close specific knowledge and skills necessary for the development of new services and products in the largest telecommunications company in Bulgaria by number of fixed internet customers. The trainings will be carried out by selected contractors under ZUSESIF and PMS 160/01.07.2016. Since 21 October 2016 in A1 Bulgaria has launched a step-by-step process for restructuring and optimisation of the company’s organizational structure. The functions and responsibilities of the previously existing General Technical Strand have been divided into 2 new strands. The 5 activities of the project will cover employees from the 2 departments and will provide extremely specific competences for 167 highly qualified employees in the following priority telecom policies in the period 2018-2019 — configuration and maintenance of the network for voice and data transmission in A1 Bulgaria; development of new IT services and solutions in the Info Technologies and Services Division; development of new IT services and solutions in Network and Services Division; development of the convergence network and services in A1 Bulgaria; improving the quality of services and maintenance in A1 Bulgaria. The expected results of the trainings are 167 employees to acquire a qualification, in accordance with the identified needs of A1 Bulgaria, and with a focus on the specifics of their activity.
