The main objective of this project proposal is to rehabilitate road III-208 Provadia from km 49+ 184 to km 65+ 933, improving and modernising the technical and operational characteristics of the section and achieving uniformity of the road surface. The implementation of the project will lead to: increasing the mobility of the population, increasing investment in the region, creating new jobs, improving the state of the environment by reducing the emission of harmful greenhouse gas emissions and allowing more choice to health and education services for the local population, as well as stimulating the development of tourism. Through the implementation of rehabilitation of road III-208, the needs of the population of the North-East region and the South-Eastern region of Bulgaria, through which the road section passes, will be met. The main activities that are planned for the successful implementation of the project are:- Establishing a project management team to coordinate all activities and participants in the implementation of the project; — Selection of a contractor for carrying out construction and installation works and activities related to information and publicity of the project, signing a contract with it and carrying out rehabilitation of the site; — Selection of a contractor for construction supervision (Consultant) of the project, signing a contract with it and providing consulting services; — Carrying out author’s supervision of the site; — Implementation of the information and publicity measures of the project; — Commissioning of the site, verification of costs and reporting of the results achieved.
