The project proposal of Assarel-Medet JSC aims at improving the working conditions in the company through the implementation of measures for the supply of lightning protection equipment for 5 industrial sub-sites, construction of air conditioning in the premises with electrical installations of 2 sub-sites, separation of dust extraction system in the applicant’s research laboratory and installation of 6 mobile household modules for short-term recreation of employees. The implementation of the project activities will contribute to the achievement of a higher level of safety at work in the company by reducing the risk of fire and explosion (through the purchase of lightning receivers and stands for them), will improve the conditions of the microclimate (through the installation of air conditioning systems), ensure the normal levels of production dust in the laboratory premises (through the construction of the dust extraction system) and provide social benefits for its employees (through the delivery of mobile household modules). At the same time, the measures planned to be implemented focus on the implementation of environmental policy, climate change policy and resource efficiency, as they will improve the ecological status of the area of industrial sites. The activities to be carried out under the project are "Team formation, organisation and project management", "Select contractors for project activities", "Supply of 6 portable household modules for short-term recreation of workers", "Construction of air conditioning systems to provide a favorable microclimate", "Building a dust extraction system in the premises of "Research Laboratory", "Visualisation and publicity of the project".The project groups are the technological and production personnel of Assarel-Medet AD, who will directly benefit from the improvement of the working conditions in the company. The total number of employees covered by the project amounted to 1 052, of which 181 were over 54 years old at the date of application.
