The implementation of this project is aimed at introducing in regular production and achieving market realisation of an entirely new innovative product, own development of BIOVET AD, for whose composition and properties the company has submitted an application for registration of a utility model with ref. No 3264/26.02.2016 and the title “Anticoccidium containing Salinomycin”. The product is a micro-granulated, dust-free, free-flowing anti-coccidium containing salinomycin as an active ingredient, which is used as a medicinal product in the form of a nutritional supplement in veterinary practice. The advantages of the product are its purity, very good fluidity, form, strength of microgranules, distribution of the active substance in particles and low dust content. These are qualities that ensure the preservation of its rheological properties during its shelf life, reliable, even and safe mixing with food and increase its efficiency in use. For the moment, Biovet JSC does not have all the equipment necessary for the production of the so defined innovative product, as every new product its production technology is specific. To this end, this project envisages the purchase of a powder dryer, a granulator, which will achieve the specific uniform distribution of activity in the particles of the resulting microgranule, as well as their shape, size and strength. In this sense, the implementation of the new product in the production of BIOVET AD will be possible only after the purchase of the specialised equipment subject to the investment under this project. After all, the implementation of the project will lead to the improvement of the competitiveness of Biovet AD by expanding the production capacity and diversifying the product portfolio. It will increase sales revenues and improve the company’s market position.
